I've been drawing faces for the 29 FACES in Feb challenge and I love the results so far. I post more often on my Instagram so if you want to see more you can follow me there. She's not done yet...I need to fix some lines and paint.
This is the last page of my chipboard journal I bought a while back. Can't believe I actually completed it. The last two pages are my favorite. I'm going to head to the craft store today to look for another journal!
Your face is very beautiful. Oh, for such perfect features! I like your colorful birdies on the wire.
ReplyDeleteamazing! Love the softness --also your watercolor portrait below is simply amazing!
ReplyDeleteLove the sketch and your journal pages! Hmm,..I love the trees in the pic in front of the tiled roofs.
ReplyDeleteLove all the texture in your journal. I've found that with selling cards online, it's best to find a small niche market. My instinct was always to create things that a broad audience could appreciate, but doing that just buries your work in a sea of competition.
ReplyDeleteI will definitely take this into consideration. Thanks so much!
DeleteLove that face - and your journal pages are just beautiful
ReplyDeleteyour portrait looks so beautiful already Danielle! Love the journal page with the birdies :) Happy PPF!
ReplyDeletelove your work~!
ReplyDeletei've popped over from Balzer Designs and am so glad that i did~!
your journal is beautiful and what a feeling it must be to have completed one. i have yet to do that.
:-)

Hi Netty thanks for stopping by! In the side bar under my button you can see my Instagram photos...I will also be posting more here on the blog as well.
DeleteI love your work! That bird piece is just so alive and wild, and the portrait so delicate.
ReplyDeleteDanielle, apart from what I said on my blog about Etsy, my advice to you is do what you love first, nurture your shop, keep it fresh, don't give up. Don't confine yourself to cards; consider artwork, art tags, and so on. People like variety and they like a shop that's active. It took me almost a year to get things rolling, and it has paid off. Hope this helps!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much. This is great advice! I'm busy working on my shop now!
DeleteI love your work.... very pretty birds and great face!
ReplyDeleteI see others using society 6 but I know nothing about it!
Hugs Giggles
Such a beautiful face! Luv the birds on the wire.
ReplyDeleteAnnabelle : )
Thank you so much Annabelle!
DeleteBeautiful sketch and I also love your journal pages. Happy PPF
ReplyDeleteI've so loved the chipboard journal - the unusual format has allowed you to create some really individual and beautiful pages... and the face is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteAlison x
Beautiful face, can't wait to see it colored! And the journal pages are terrific. Etsy is a bit of a numbers game. There are hundreds of thousands of shops there! So, the more items in your shop, the better. And in your tags, try to use two-word phrases someone might use when looking for items like yours. :)
ReplyDeleteOk, I didn't know that. Thanks so much Cindy!
DeleteWhat a lovely journal you have! I love the drawing too and the flowers in the background of the drawing.
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteThe looseness of your journal pages are so charming. They're really lovely.
ReplyDeleteWhat an accomplishment to FINISH a journal! I have some really beautiful ones, that I begin......but I don't finish. I'm not even close! I wish I could dedicate a little time each day.....
