New Fashion Illustrations + Goals for February

I recently did a few illustrations for M&M Fashion Bites blog.  Maria and Marina run this blog and are two very stylish girls.  I've been painting a lot lately so it was nice to switch it up for a bit.

This is my first blog collab so I took my time during the drawing process.  I sketched each one two or three times before I was happy.  Pencil on watercolor paper makes for easy shading.  I chose to keep them clean and simple without color.  Can't wait to hang these in white frames very soon.

Since January is coming to a close here are a few of my goals for the coming month.  I plan to take them seriously and assign a date in my planner for each one.  Do have any special goals for February?  Please share!
P.S. I used Canva.com to make my to-do list!

  1. Very pretty piece... I started out as a fashion illustration major many years ago at FIT in NYC.
Your work brings back many great memories. ;)

  2. These are really lovely. I agree the pencil on white paper is very effective. My main goal for February is to complete 5 paintings for an upcoming exhibition that I found out last night starts a month earlier than I thought (I'm only 1/2 way through the first painting so I'm going to be very busy!!)

  3. I decided to take a selfie everyday in February as a love letter to myself since I tend to avoid being in front of the camera! Your list gave me a few more ideas. Good luck with your goals!

  7. The drawings will certainly look lovely framed and would fit well into a fancy clothes store!
I'm doing two challenges combined in February, 29 Faces and one for creating colourful art through the month of February, "28 dage i farver". I have linked to both in my blog.
