Photos in Houston
I was in Houston over the weekend to visit my sister and her family. She is lucky enough to live right by the water and a few minutes away from really nice shops. I used to take photos all the time that were actually good. I hope by taking more photos I can get better at it. I bought a DSLR and get very frustrated when it's time for me to take a photo. One step at a time I guess.

Love your shadow photo! Valerie
ReplyDeleteThanks Valerie!
Deletei know what you mean about taking good photos. I used to take tons of photos…back when i had a film camera. Now i take them with my digital camera and they aren't that good. i guess i'm out of practice, too.
ReplyDeletesounds like you had a fun weekend!!
I like the texture and the shadow play Danielle, you are right practice really helps so much in learning. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and leaving such a sweet comment.
ReplyDeletei love the way that your shadow photo expresses that feeling of pensive yearning (to get better at photography with your new camera).
ReplyDeletei also have to say that i think it's a great shot and very engaging to the viewer in many ways~!
well done.
