The Shabby Tea Room-Party Time Challenge

I really wanted to join in on the The Shabby Tea Room's challenge for week #53 and I almost missed it!  The theme is "Party Time" so I chose to this Celebrate Mom stamp from Hampton Art.  This is the first time I altered a gift bag.  My inspiration came from a Youtuber (RoseS915), she is so creative!  Here is my late night entry!

Products used: Prima bling, Recollections roses, Studio 112 stamp, Donna Salazar Journaling cards, Maya Road spool.  Thanks for stopping by!

Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge

This is my first time participating in the Waltzingmouse sketch challenge...normally I get stuck and fuss over the small stuff but I really had fun with this card.  This idea came from a mini-album I recently completed where I made a burlap banner on one of the pages.  (Tip-cover the back of the entire piece of burlap with hot glue so the edges won't fray).

I of course had to use my new Tim Holtz dress form stamp as well as Donna Salazar, Trunk in the Attic papers.  I love this sewing machine from Maya Road and the simple pearls, seam binding, and trim.

Thank you for stopping by...comments are always welcome!

CPA Design Team Challange for March-Altered Glass Bottle

For the month of March, CPA DT project I altered this glass bottle for our beach inspired theme.  I got this bottle from Goodwill a couple years ago and had planned to burn candles in it, but never got around to it.  So, I decided I would try to alter it.  Everything started from the Blue Moon Bead I got on sale at Joann's and then I just started adding fabric's, trim's, seam binding, shells, and flowers.

I tore out some book pages, distressed the edges and tied them with jute rope and slipped them in the bottle before it sealed the top.

I got this glass jewel from Hobby Lobby a long time ago and used glossy accents to glue it in the top.  I wish I had a more transparent glue to use but the frosted look is okay.

Thank you so much for stopping by!  Please stop by CPA and check out more fun projects!
Have a blessed day!
